1. Jesus praised the widow’s mite

because of the offering she gave

that others gave of their riches

But she gave herself

Oh my soul Ask thyself

What will I give to God

See your brethren

Carry their offering

Proceeding to the altar

2. A loaf of bread and a cup of wine

in commemoration of me

Receive O God Thy creature

You are the Lord who owns me
