First single from Ian’s seventh album “Kingdom” is “Welcome to the gift of being wrong.”
This is a lamentful, repentant song about transition. It is about the gift of being incorrect and the delight resulting from a basic life transformation.

.This project is so what it is.*/Working with producer Trevor Michael once more, Ian combines honest words and passion with aspects of The 1975, Imagine Dragons, and The War On Drugs. Former Delirious guitarist Stu G joins Yates with Reuben Harsant on drums and Mark Prentice on bass.
“These songs were born out a deep dive and study on the Kingdom of God and were written over a four-year period,” Yates adds. It has spurred a lot of discussions among people on the issue and the present situation of affairs worldwide.The record probes numerous issues and reveals what I think The Kingdom is about and how I might have gotten a lot of it wrong previously. These songs and my tale should inspire people to question what we are building in our life. Do we live for the Kingdom of God?
