Integrity Music Congratulates Israel Houghton On 7th GRAMMY Win
With great pleasure, Integrity Music congratulates singer-songwriter, producer, and worship leader Israel Houghton on his Grammy victory at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, which took place Sunday night at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. For his contribution to Best Gospel Performance/Song with “One Hallelujah,” Houghton received his seventh (7th) Grammy.
“We are so happy for Israel! It’s an honor for him to still be a part of the Integrity family after all these years,” said Blaine Barcus, President of Integrity Music. “What an amazing legacy and yet, he’s still impacting the Church worldwide today with amazing Jesus-centered music!”
Houghton also shared his excitement, saying, “The seasons and timing of God will never not amaze me. I’m grateful for this time in my life, ministry and family, and the God winks and surprises I’ve been experiencing. It’s all glory to God. To still be called upon and used by The Master is an honor and a privilege.”
Israel & New Breed also performed a live Spanish album recording in the Bronx, NY, which drew more than 1500 worshippers the day before he won his eighth Grammy. With songs and hymns dating back a century and new titles in the traditions of salsa and bachata, the upcoming album, titled “Coritos,” will serve as a bridge between Latin American cultures, gospel, and worship.
Nate Diaz (Elevation Rhythm) and Aaron Moses (previously of Maverick City Musica) collaborate on the song’s writing and production, and Unified Sound, Lucia Parker, Alex Campos, Marcos Witt, Janina Rosado, Evan Craft, Coalo Zamorano, and many others are special guests. The summer of 2025 will see the release of “Coritos.”
