Michael Bethany – Overflow Album
Award-winning singer, songwriter, producer, and recording artist Michael Bethany drops his much awaited Overflow, the first album from Gateway Music. The full-length CD was captured live at The King’s University at Gateway Southlake and is now accessible at https://gatewayworship.lnk.to/overflow at digital and streaming retailers around the world.
Michael W. Smith, TobyMac, and CeCe Winans’ Overflow, a live worship concert with a universal sound of worship, was created by Ryan Rich and Kyle Lee. Michael’s personal overflowing connection with God was the source of its birth.
The Holy Spirit spoke to Michael in his prayer closet in 2017 and told him to create a new album and give it the title Overflow. “As overflow finally took on a life of its own, where everything would overflow from intimacy, I made a decision to remain there, making it the fulcrum of my existence. Nearly all of the songs on the new CD were inspired by prayer and personal time with God.
Kirk Franklin is also a fan of the new album.

One of those songs, “Fill the Room,” along with the music video that goes with it, are both being made public today. They both make a plea for the Holy Spirit to appear physically and for the truth of God to pervade each worship service and setting. The enthusiastic chorus of the song and its extended worship flow enable listeners to spend longer time in God’s presence.
“He Is Lord” is meant to transport listeners into the throne room of God’s majestic presence, much like “Fill the Room,” while “Ask Me Why,” the joyous testimony and lead single from Overflow, analyzes God’s faithfulness. Grammy-winning songwriters Mitch Wong and Mia Fieldes collaborated on the Grammy-winning song “Ask Me Why,” which expertly fuses contemporary and Gospel music.
