Trampolines & The Band JAREN Release Missional Call, “Here To Work”
Trampolines and The Band JAREN have have released a missional new song titled “Here To Work,” which started streaming everywhere from January 24.
A matching music video was also released by the bands.
“Do The Work” invites listeners to fully embrace the call of Christ as His hands and feet, continuing the calling that both bands have previously lived from.
“‘Here to Work’ is really a missional call, a campaign for the clear calls of the Bible: to use our time on this planet for God, to do the things He has asked us to do. Things like free the oppressed, feed the hungry, help the sick, make disciples, and build an army to do more of that,” Trampolines co-leader Lane Terzieff explains. “It feels like this punk-rock activist scream to the world: hey, life is short. Let’s not waste time. God is real. Let’s do this.”

By constantly working with artists that share similar beliefs, Trampolines symbolizes the call to be actually a part of the Body of Christ. They recruited friends and old tourmates from The Band JAREN, a new all-girl ensemble that provides violin and vocals, to help with “Here To Work.”
Lane says, “They felt so intentional about their mission, and we knew when we were writing this song that they were the band to collaborate with.”
Loren D. Clark, who plays bass for TobyMac, rounded out the song’s impressive roster of musicians. Nicholas Riley mixed the track.
The finished product is an upbeat, genre-bending song that seamlessly blends pop, rock, and EDM elements to produce a powerful call for contagious action. A unique band resume supporting “Here To Work” demonstrates that it is possible to live the gospel: A large portion of Trampolines’ time is devoted to humanitarian missions in some of the world’s most hazardous locations, where they look into human trafficking, offer helpful hunger relief, and spread the gospel and music wherever they go. They have worked undercover to combat human trafficking in Southeast Asia and on the front lines of a conflict zone in Ukraine during the last six months.
Trampolines, lead by Lane and his wife Cary, see music and mission as one and the same, and all band revenues are used to support this effort and their organization, UNIT+E. “Here To Work” is a roadmap from those who are already on the path, not just an idealistic statement.
