Travis Tritt To Release “Country Chapel” Live Gospel Concert Television Special & DVD
Travis Tritt, the country star who has sold millions of albums, is preparing to take his fans on a spiritual journey with the release of his highly-anticipated television special and DVD, Country Chapel, in collaboration with Gaither Music Group. This captivating Gospel concert TV program and DVD, hosted by the award-winning singer/songwriter Rory Feek, showcases songs from Tritt’s debut Gospel album, Country Chapel, and offers a truly moving experience as Tritt delivers powerful renditions of beloved hymns and heartfelt originals.
Country Chapel is scheduled to be released on April 26, 2024, and invites audiences to witness Tritt’s passionate testimony of redemption through fresh arrangements of timeless classics such as “Why Me” and “The Baptism of Jesse Taylor,” as well as songs that he has written and co-written. The DVD also includes remarkable tracks like “Like the Father Loves His Son” and “When God Dips His Love in My Heart,” featuring a special stage appearance by The Oak Ridge Boys.
Travis expressed his excitement for the songs featured in the upcoming special and DVD, stating, “This album is a project that I have been longing to create for over three decades. I am incredibly thrilled and grateful to have finally released this collection of songs that transport me back to my early days of singing inspirational music as a child in church.”
A television special, showcasing performances and interview footage from the filming, will premiere on the UPtv television network on Friday, April 26, at 2:00 p.m. ET, with an additional airing on Sunday, April 28, at 10:00 a.m. ET. The special will also be broadcasted on various networks including RFD-TV, TBN, Heartland, Proclaim Broadcasting, CTS, The Walk TV, CTV, Total Living Network (TLN), Vision Television & Hope TV (Canada), and The Miracle Channel (Canada).
Songs from the DVD will be featured on Apple Music and the Gaither Music TV YouTube channel, which has a subscriber base of over three million, as well as on the Gaither Facebook page.
