Chosen Road Tops Billboard Bluegrass Chart
It Never Gets Old, the highly acclaimed album released in 2023 by the renowned bluegrass ensemble Chosen Road from Thoroughbred Records, has secured the top spot on Billboard’s Bluegrass Albums chart dated April 15. This remarkable achievement surpasses the releases of music legends like Marty Stuart, Bela Fleck, and Willie Nelson, as well as the rising stars Billy Strings and Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, placing Chosen Road’s collection in the Top 10.
Featuring a combination of fresh original compositions and updated arrangements of beloved classics, It Never Gets Old showcases the popular single “I Want To Be Just Like You,” along with tracks like “Awake My Soul,” “That’s What Heroes Do,” “Jesus Wear The Crown,” and the current hit single “The Storm Still Knows His Voice.” The album, which reached the impressive position of #2 on Billboard’s Bluegrass Albums chart shortly after its release last year, was skillfully produced by Zachary Alvis, Tyler Robertson, and Jonathan Buckner of Chosen Road.
