Christian musician JD Walker publishes his 12-song album Deeper Than Blood with a burning desire for the courage and self-respect to follow Jesus’ path of belief, love, and peace.JD follows his life’s purpose of spreading the Lord’s message to others with the aid of the Holy Spirit after suffering through personal challenges.JD’s album Deeper Than Blood is an unflinchingly honest one that inspires the capacity to be tough in the face of difficulty and uplifts someone else who could be going through a similar situation.

JD says, “This album is a variety of songs, and many of these songs pertain to my journey of how Jesus brought me back to Him. I am hoping this album will relate to people on all levels so they will realize no matter how far they have strayed, Jesus is always there.”

As the title track of the album, “Deeper Than Blood,” JD shares, “It is about what our Heavenly Father did for us all on the cross.” This is the sophomore album, with 12 tracks, with #12 being the bonus song. JD’s musical influences as a recording artist are drawn from his Missouri origins. The singer expresses a hope for people to be transformed even when faced with difficulties outside of their control. From coming to know Jesus as a Christian artist, JD says, “If there’s life without blame in Jesus name, ‘I’m In.’ I hope it makes the listener say, I want to be in, and if they aren’t right with God, it motivates them to want to come to know Jesus.”

JD draws inspiration for his songs from both his firm spiritual convictions and the tragedy, grief, and upheaval of his adolescence. As one of the songs is dedicated to the memory of the singer’s wife, it really touches him.According to JD, “God Missed Her Most” (LIVE) is a song that I chose to record in honor of my wife Tina. It perfectly encapsulates the devotion to her memory. “JD has maintained his unwavering faith in God over the years and continues to discuss what motivates him as an artist and a devout person.

He kept moving his life in an uplifting and positive direction by surrounding himself with Jesus and being filled with the Spirit. He immediately came to believe in the power of worship and prayer as he developed those relationships. In honor of his father, he decided to record “Live, Laugh, Love, Dance” (LIVE). “My Dad used to tell me this song while I was going through hard times. For the time being, it’s okay for you to grab a gorgeous girl and dance because your precious Tina would want that, because she told me so. You have to keep going, son; you have to keep living; it’s good for you to laugh; you’ve had to love; one day you’ll love another.

From the album, JD released three singles, including the title tune, “Deeper Than Blood,” “From The Devil To The Cross,” and “Your Knees To The Floor,” all of which helped others have a better understanding of how JD came to know Jesus and the profound love that has given him strength. Before the Lord’s presence caused him to become unmovable, he spent so many years denying and eluding his faith.

His 2016 debut EP Too Far From Heaven, from which the title track amassed over 2 million video views on Reverb Nation, was followed by Deeper Than Blood. The song likewise began at #149 on the Music Row charts and reached its highest position of #84 with no marketing.
