Barnes, a GRAMMY Award winning singer and songwriter. Barnes’ debut single as a solo artist, “Altar,” is now available. This track is a preview of Barnes’ upcoming album, The Good Shepherd.
Joe L. Barnes, also known as Joel Barnes, hails from Kentucky and serves as a worship leader and songwriter at The Shepherd’s Tent in Covington, Georgia. Apart from his songwriting skills, Barnes is dedicated to teaching and empowering others to express their authentic sound. In April 2020, Joe L collaborated with Maverick City to release “Promises,” a song that has garnered over 140 million views on YouTube. Notably, Barnes has co-written songs like “In Spite of Me” by Tasha Cobbs Leonard, “Not Holding Back” by JJ Hairston, and “Ruins” with Maverick City.
